Northumberland Landscape Photography Workshop

Three Day Workshop - £520.00 per person (£150 deposit)

Dates: 6th May to 8th May 2019

Availability – three places
Location: Northumberland

Northumberland is my home county and I have many great memories of holidays in Alnwick, Bamburgh, Warkworth and the walled town of Berwick, so I will provide you with a view of Northumberland from Northumbrian who loves the coastline and the county.

The Northeast coast has some fantastic beaches but is the north sea can make it bitterly cold, the workshop will take in Northumberland’s heritage coastline from Warkworth beach which at its furthest point next to Amble was the home of RAF air rescue in World War II, and the remains also of Warkworth lighthouse and pier, other locations on the workshop are Bamburgh Castle, Dunstanburgh Castle, Alnwick Castle, Lindisfarne (Holy Island) and Lindisfarne Castle which just been completely restored by the National Trust

The Northeast coast is designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, not only it is of significant geological importance, it features some of the most dramatic coastal scenery in the country. Best known for its sweeping sandy beaches, rolling dunes which fringe the coast, rugged cliffs, and isolated islands, it also contains some imposing castles such as Bamburgh and the evocative ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle with its distinctive pebble beach.

Landscape Workshops Tuition

The workshops are open to any level of photographer, I will talk you through the key elements for producing a great photo, composition, light, subject, and shutter speed.

At each location that we visit, I will help you be creative with your camera and understanding the technical aspects of your camera, and how to ISO, f-stops, and shutter speeds (exposure triangle), and histograms to produce a great photograph that you will want to keep.
